BIG News!!!

Today is my birthday and I unfortunatly had to go to the doctor :(

Many of you know that I have been having many many issues since May. I have been to the doctor nurmous times trying different things to make it work! Nothing.

Today was unlike no other - except I said to the doctor my uterus hurts if thats a way to explain it. I started a new birth control 15 days ago amoung a bunch of other meds. So, I figured this had something to do with it. But, to be on the safe side I took like my 24th pregnancy test.....and then got told I had to wait an hour. Because I am high risk for cervical cancer I was a mess.

Doctor comes back - says so you think you are pregnant? I said I don't think I am but I really want to know what is going on with me. She said my test came back weakly positive. So, I was like what does that mean? Am I pregnant??? She said I think so. Then I said well how far a long? She said maybe 4 weeks so lets do an internal ultrasound and see whats going on. Well little did we know this baby was huge! I was like thats a big 4 wk old! She was like thats because you are farther a long that I thought. Then she said .... not only are you farther along - you are having twins!!!! HOLY SH!T!!!

So, needless to say the internal ultrasound was not needed and we proceeded to a regular ultrasound - the babies measure about 14wks. So, I got pregnant back in July but have not had any sort of cycle since May. I may be farther along and we will know that as time progresses because they will measure smaller as they are twins. We should know the sex within the next 5-7 wks.

There is no understanding as to why my body has done this or acted this way...or barely even produced a positive pregnancy test but things happen for a reason and we will take it as such! Here is to very healthly babies and A great Birthday!!

The 2008 Special Olympics Fire Truck Pull

Troy Twp. took 4 teams to Geneva Grape Jamboree last weekend. We had an all mens and womans team from the FD and then 2 other teams both coed from the township.

Our Womans team are undefeated with pulling last place for 3 years straight.

Our coed team A took 3rd place.






Our Mens team took 1st place for the 2nd year in a row.

Our coed team B (my team) did not place but I am sure our times were not bad at all :)






The Special olympics team also pulled the truck all by themselves - this was a great accomplishment for them!









When our men won - the gave the 1st place trophy to the Special Olympics team for doing such a great time!!

The Catch All...

I have been so busy the last few months that I have not had any time to get things posted on here. So, bare with me while I share some of the stuff that has been going on in my busy life :)

I never posted any photos from the Medieval Faire that we went to at the beginning of August. Each year the faire has a weekend theme for six weeks starting in July. We went the weekand of the Roman Holiday - we did not wear any togas but we sure did see a lot. It was also a beautiful weekend!! Here are some photos from the event: to the left is a photos of the parade we saw - the man was a jester on stilts.

Here is one of the fire breathers! These guys were a riot. They had the crowd laughing and amazed the whole performance.

This beautiful horse is used in the josting events - he was very gentle and the girls wanted to pet him forever. They also enjoyed the manpowered rides at the faire. To the right is a photo of them in front of one of the rides. There were only about 3-4 rides at the faire because they were all ran with the muscle power of men.

These are a few of the photos from the Old Italian Circus - for such a small tent it was packed with entertainment. The acrobatics were awesome - the dog show was great! There was trapez work and comedy as well.

The meal fit for a King (or Queens!) There girls are here enjoying their meal. Isn't that turkey leg as big as Madelyn???
